AccountedFor

Privacy, in plain English

Effective October 14, 2026

Accounted For is made by Round Table Strategy LLC (“we”, “us”). You are trusting us with your money numbers, so here is exactly what we keep and what we do with it. The short version: we keep what you type in so the app can do its job, we never sell it, and you can delete all of it yourself.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address, your password, and the name you add in Settings if you choose to. Your password goes straight to our sign-in provider (Supabase), which stores it in hashed form. We never see it.

What you type in. Income sources and paychecks, bills and expenses (names, amounts, due dates, categories, and which ones you marked paid), the business or personal tags you create, savings and investment accounts you add by hand with their balances, deposits and withdrawals, and the life insurance planner details you enter (dependents, debt, mortgage, education goal, and policies with carrier, coverage and premium). Also your settings, like your budget benchmark and whether the nightly email is on.

Images you upload. If you upload a custom category icon, we store that image in a private folder tied to your account.

Imports. If you import a CSV file, we read it to build your expense list and save the rows you confirm. We do not keep the file itself. If Google Sheets import is available and you use it, we read only the sheet you share with us, and only to build that same preview.

What we do not collect. We do not connect to your bank and never ask for bank logins. We do not ask for your birth date, Social Security number, or account numbers.

Why we use it

To run the app: show your weekly number, your calendar, your benchmarks and your projections. That is the whole reason we hold your data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles on you.

Emails. Our sign-in provider sends the emails you need to use your account, like confirming your email and resetting your password. The nightly digest (a summary of your weekly number and upcoming bills) is off by default and only goes out if you turn it on in Settings. You can turn it off there anytime.

New signup notice. When someone creates an account, we send ourselves one short email with that email address and the signup time, so we know who is using the app.

Cookies and browser storage

We use sign-in cookies to keep you logged in, and one small note in your browser's storage that remembers you already closed a first-visit tip. That is it. No ads, no analytics tools, no tracking pixels, no session recording.

Where it is stored

Your data lives in Accounted For's own database, separate from our other products, run by Supabase in the United States. Database rules limit each account to its own rows, so other users cannot see your numbers.

Who helps us run it

A few companies process data on our behalf, only to provide the service:

  • Supabase stores your data and uploaded icons, handles sign-in, and sends account emails.
  • Hostinger hosts the app. Like any web host, it receives standard request details such as your IP address and browser type.
  • Resend delivers the nightly digest (if you turned it on) and our new signup notice.
  • Google, only if you use Google Sheets import, to read the sheet you chose to share.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or trade it. We only share it beyond the list above if the law requires us to.

Deleting your account and data

You can do it yourself, anytime: go to Settings, scroll to Danger zone, and choose Delete account. That removes your login, every row of your budget data, and your uploaded icons right away. There is no undo.

Our database provider keeps routine backups, so a copy can remain in those backups for a short time until they are replaced. If you cannot sign in and want your data removed, email dev@wsbroundtable.com from the address on your account.

Children

Accounted For is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections, and access is limited by account. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise nothing will ever go wrong, but we treat your numbers the way we would want ours treated.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
